Welcome to Spainrico and Thanks for visiting Why Spainrico ? Good question! Originally I set the site up for another purpose but as I now no longer need that it has become my web site for my Freelance Writing activities. Rico, by the way is Spanish for `Rich´ (not that I am!) and as a bit of a pun Ri are my initials and Co for Company.....moving on..... I am a Freelance Writer (Member of the the Association of Freelance Writers) Blogger, Poster, and an active member of the Torrevieja Writers Circle. I have been living in southern Costa Blanca Spain since 2000 and I am passionate about Spain. My articles cover a variety of issues: - Expat life in Spain the good, the bad, the factual and the humourous. - Current events Including The Crisis, Sporting events, Volvo Ocean Race (TIM Sept.) - Travel Reviews (TIM Aug.) - Valencia/Murcia Natural Parks (TIM Oct.) - and whatever else people might be interested in!
